Of August 19th up to and including august 23th 2010 the 8th edition of SAmsterdam takes place. For five days from Amsterdam IJ forms port the setting for living program full music, culture and nautical wealth.The preparations are in full pace and it promises an unequalled nautical bacon hoist become again. August 19th is the entry of almost all Tallships, from Europe, Asia , North and south America originating; in the morning hours sails all these historical sailing ships by lock of IJmuiden and accompanied by a fleet of hundreds if not thousands large and small vessels, by means of North sea canal to Amsterdam. This bacon hoist starts approx. 11.30 in IJmuiden, and expects that the largest part of the fleet has been moored approx. 15.00 in Amsterdam along the quays Eastern of the central station. We offer the occasion you this monumental nautical of living bacon hoist. For this we offer a number of ships where can register themselves you for this day excursion, both individual, and group. For this special arrangement we have used three ships:
Program:
Food/beverage: Reception coffee with pastry making; during the excursion unlimited coffee or tea. Lunch, existing from good convened French rolls, and delicious soup. Furthermore the bar opens 10.30 and can you unlimited use of the Dutch arrangement (coffee, tea, beer, white and red wine, rose, softdrinks, dutch genever and typical shippers bitter, accompanied with dutch cheese, sausages and a variation of exotic nuts.
